Hauchs Physiske Cabinet

Hauchs Physiske Cabinet is a remarkable collection of 825 physical and chemical instruments assembled by Adam Wilhelm Hauch between 1790 and 1827. The collection was purchased by King Frederik VI in 1815 and donated to Sorø Academy in 1827, where the instruments are displayed in their original custom-designed cases.
