Næstved Museum, housed in the historic Helligåndshus (House of the Holy Spirit) in central Næstved, presents the city's history from the Stone Age to the present. Exhibits cover prehistoric hunters and farmers, Viking expeditions from Vester Egesborg, the bustling life of medieval Næstved, and the rise of industry — including the celebrated Kähler ceramic workshop. The medieval Helligåndshus once functioned as a hospital and almshouse for the poor, and now anchors the museum's storytelling. It is part of Museum Sydøstdanmark.
