Det sorte Geomuseum
Det Sorte Geomuseum in Gedser, on Denmark's southernmost tip, is a geological museum that takes visitors into a world beneath the surface. Highlights include exhibitions on Greenland's geology, fossils, minerals and amber, fossil hunting and stone-painting activities, and the 18-tonne "Kæmpestenen fra Hasselø" boulder in the courtyard. The museum is open during summer (late June to end of August), Tuesday to Sunday 11:00-16:00.
