Bøtø Nor Gl. Pumpestation

Bøtø Nor Gl. Pumpestation is a cultural-history museum housed in the old pumping station that drained Bøtø Nor on southern Falster, Denmark. The 1901 Atlas steam engine that powered the pump until 1967 is preserved on site, alongside exhibitions on the Great Storm Surge of 1872, the Gedesby Ship, the B/F Grønært ferry, the 1999 storm and the 2011 flood. Group tours of the old and new pump stations are available year-round, with seasonal opening from 26 June 2026.
