Danmarks Museum for Lystsejlads

Danmarks Museum for Lystsejlads in Svendborg preserves the history of recreational sailing in Denmark, housing one of Northern Europe's largest collections of sailing vessels and related artifacts. Founded in 1990 by sailing enthusiast and author Bent Aarre together with the sailing club "Piraterne," the museum operates entirely without public funding, relying on donations and memberships. Admission is free, and the museum is open on Tuesdays.
