Fisheries and Maritime Museum

Fiskeri- og Søfartsmuseet (the Fisheries and Maritime Museum) in Esbjerg is Denmark's national museum of the sea. Visitors can meet Denmark's largest predator at the seal sanctuary, explore aquaria filled with North Sea wildlife, board the historic fishing cutter E.1, walk through the open-air maritime exhibition and follow rotating special displays such as "Mysteries of the Sea." The museum runs daily seal feeding sessions and has an on-site café and family activities.
