Frihedsmuseet

Frihedsmuseet (the Museum of Danish Resistance) in Copenhagen takes visitors underground to occupied Denmark during the Second World War. Through exhibits on four resistance fighters and one Danish Nazi, the museum explores the choices and dilemmas of life under occupation. Visitors can listen in on phone calls, crack codes, produce illegal newspapers and view rare artefacts including the execution stakes from Ryvangen and "Flammen's" coat. Frihedsmuseet is part of the National Museum of Denmark.
