Herregården Hessel

Herregården Hessel is one of the last four-winged, thatched manor houses in Denmark, with a history dating back to the Middle Ages, first mentioned in 1391. The oldest building features a large barn with oak timber from around 1650. The museum presents rotating historical exhibitions and cultural demonstrations.
