Avnø Naturcenter

Avn\u00f8 Naturcenter is a nature centre and school located between sky and sea in open countryside in Vordingborg Municipality, Denmark, and is one of Zealand's most beautiful places to observe wading birds, geese, ducks and birds of prey. Opened in 2004 and visited by around 60,000 people a year, the centre is a collaboration between Vordingborg Municipality, N\u00e6stved Municipality and the Danish Nature Agency. Its Transit Hall hosts exhibits on Avn\u00f8's history while the foyer presents local wildlife.
