De Looierij

Museum De Looierij in Dongen has welcomed visitors since 2011 in a national monument originally built in 1890 as a tannery. The museum tells the story of the local leather and tanning industry alongside changing exhibitions, educational programmes, walking and cycling routes, workshops and a permanent collection of objects and visual material. Children's audio tours, treasure hunts and activity booklets make it a friendly destination for families.
