Electric Ladyland - Museum of Fluorescent Art

Electric Ladyland - the First Museum of Fluorescent Art is a unique Amsterdam museum opened in 1999 and the first in the world devoted entirely to fluorescence. Visitors enter a room-sized fluorescent "participatory" environment, becoming part of the artwork itself, and tour demonstrations of fluorescent minerals, vintage fluorescent advertisements and artifacts dating back to 1932. The museum sits beneath the Electric Lady Art Gallery in the Jordaan, near the Anne Frank House.
