Auld Kirk Museum

The Auld Kirk Museum in Kirkintilloch has been East Dunbartonshire's town museum since 1961 and is housed in a Category A-listed building that is one of the finest and oldest sites in the town. From Roman artefacts to 20th-century innovations, its collection of around 13,000 objects reveals the social, industrial and everyday lives of people who lived and worked in East Dunbartonshire. The museum hosts a changing programme of exhibitions throughout the year alongside objects of local, national and international significance.
