Banbury Museum
Banbury Museum & Gallery is a family-friendly museum at the heart of Banbury's canalside, displaying local history collections covering the town's origins, the English Civil War, plush manufacturing, the Victorian market town and costume from the 17th century to the present day. The Pye Gallery hosts an ever-changing programme of temporary exhibitions, including shows by Grayson Perry, Turner, Lego, and Vikings. Facilities include a shop, café and the Rosemarie Higham Library, plus venue hire. Entry to the museum is free, with admission charges for some temporary exhibitions and events.
