Battle Museum of Local History
Battle Museum of Local History preserves and exhibits hundreds of artefacts from the town of Battle in East Sussex, England. Set within the originally Elizabethan walled gardens of The Almonry, the collection ranges from prehistoric and Roman times to the world's oldest effigy of Guy Fawkes, with displays spanning the two World Wars and the town's long association with royalty. Exhibits include items charting Battle's history through to the mid-20th century.
