Bushey Museum and Art Gallery

Bushey Museum & Art Gallery in Hertfordshire tells the story of Bushey and its unique artistic history, with a particular focus on Sir Hubert von Herkomer's nationally significant Art School and the work of his student Lucy Kemp-Welch. The museum holds the largest art collection in Hertfordshire alongside displays of local archaeology, artefacts, documents and historical maps. Housed in an Edwardian former Council building close to Bushey High Street, it was named a VisitEngland 'Hidden Gem' in November 2025. Entry is free, with donations welcomed.
