Chiltern Open Air Museum

Chiltern Open Air Museum is a 45-acre rural museum in the Chiltern Hills that rescues and re-erects historic buildings from across the area, restoring and furnishing them to interpret 2,000 years of regional life. Visitors explore farms, cottages, an Iron Age round-house, Edwardian public toilets, a 1940s prefab and a working forge alongside heritage gardens, traditional craft demonstrations, a working farm and live history encounters. Year-round events include Music on the Bandstand, workshops, family learning days and seasonal festivals, with school programmes and venue hire for weddings and filming.
