Crawley Museum Centre

Crawley Museum is an independent local history museum that tells the story of the West Sussex town through objects and their stories, from prehistoric and Iron Age beginnings through the medieval settlement and Victorian town to the 20th-century New Town development. The collection includes a 1903 Rex Forecar and a Bronze Age sword among permanent displays, alongside a temporary exhibition space and community-led programmes. Crawley Museums also operates Ifield Watermill, believed to be the only working watermill in West Sussex still powered by its original water source.
