Dover Museum and Bronze Age Boat Gallery
Dover Museum is a modern local-history and archaeology museum in the centre of Britain's historic port town. Its galleries tell the story of Dover and the surrounding area, with a flagship gallery devoted to a Bronze Age boat — the remains of a roughly 3,500-year-old prehistoric wooden vessel discovered in 1992. The museum runs school activity days for Key Stages 1–3 and a programme of temporary and online exhibitions, and partners with the nearby Roman Painted House on New Street.
