Elizabeth Castle

Elizabeth Castle is a 16th-century fortification built on a tidal island in St Aubin's Bay, Jersey. Spanning 15 acres, the castle defended Jersey for over 400 years and served as a refuge for King Charles II during the English Civil War. Visitors can explore battlements, living history performances, WWII occupation displays, and the ancient Hermitage of Saint Helier.
