Guildford Museum
Guildford Museum has stood next to Guildford Castle Grounds since 1898, occupying a complex of historic buildings including Castle Arch House (partly built using the walls from the castle gatehouse and dating from the mid-16th century), 48 Quarry Street, the gallery extension and the Muniment Room. Free to visit, the museum holds a permanent collection of objects from the Guildford and Surrey area dating from prehistoric times to the present day, plus changing exhibitions, an online collection (Guildford Games), and an interactive Scullery Playroom for younger visitors.
