Lady Waterford Hall

Lady Waterford Hall is a Victorian schoolroom in Ford, Northumberland, housing an extraordinary series of Pre-Raphaelite watercolor murals painted by Louisa Anne, Marchioness of Waterford between 1861 and 1883. Originally commissioned as a village school, the hall features murals depicting faces of local estate residents as Biblical characters, and now welcomes visitors and hosts community events.
