Lapworth Museum of Geology
The Lapworth Museum of Geology at the University of Birmingham holds one of the UK's most outstanding geological collections, spanning 4.6 billion years of Earth's history from volcanic origins to prehistoric life. It supports both undergraduate teaching and international research, and is open to the public with free admission. The museum is located in the Aston Webb Building on the Edgbaston campus.
