Leeds Industrial Museum, Armley Mills
Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills occupies a historic 19th-century woollen mill on the River Aire, once one of the largest in the world. The museum explores Leeds' industrial heritage through galleries on textiles, clothing, printing, and cinema. Visitors can see original textile machinery in operation, a collection of steam locomotives in the engine shed, and the Palace Picture House cinema. The atmospheric mill building and grounds are also open to explore.
