Dutch Resistance Museum
The Verzetsmuseum (Resistance Museum) Amsterdam tells the story of the Second World War in the Netherlands and its former colonies through more than 130 personal stories of ordinary people facing impossible choices in extreme circumstances. Permanent exhibitions cover daily life, collaboration, persecution of Jews and the Dutch resistance from 1940-45, the former Dutch colonies' war and independence struggles, and a special children's section, Verzetsmuseum Junior. An audio guide in multiple languages is included with admission.
