Arsiana

Arsiana is a company founded by the Municipality of Raša, Croatia, to valorize the mining heritage of Raša, Istria's youngest town, built in just 547 days in 1936–1937 to support a coal mine. Named after the "Rašanka" (miner's wife), Arsiana operates the "Kova experience" — mining tours that take visitors back to the 1928–1966 era of the Raša Mine, where more than 10,000 miners extracted coal, the "black gold." The company also manages the Miners' House "Arsia" and related heritage sites in Raša.
