The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision (Beeld & Geluid) is a major media museum and national archive housed in a striking, award-winning building in Hilversum — the historic heart of Dutch broadcasting. The institute preserves over one million hours of television, radio, music, and film dating from 1898 to the present day, and presents interactive exhibitions exploring the history of media and its profound influence on everyday life in the Netherlands and beyond.
