Marker Museum
Marker Museum opened in 1983 and is housed in six interconnected historic cottages on the island of Marken, Netherlands. The museum offers an authentic glimpse of daily life on Marken in the 19th and early 20th centuries, with exhibits on the unique local traditional dress (Marker klederdracht), fishing, religion, the struggle against water, and the changes brought by the Afsluitdijk.
