City museum Požega

Gradski muzej Požega (City Museum of Požega) is a local museum founded in 1924 that documents the cultural and natural heritage of Požega and the surrounding region. Its collections are organised across History, Archaeology, Art History, Ethnology, Natural Sciences, Documentation and Educational departments, including notable prehistoric finds such as bones of mammoths, bison, giant deer, cave bears and hyenas. The museum operates the Požeška kuća visitor centre, runs hosted exhibitions and educational programmes for schools.
