DDR Museum

The DDR Museum in the Netherlands, located in Monnickendam, is a unique collection of 13 vitrines dedicated to life, work, and politics in the German Democratic Republic from 1949 to 1990. The museum features consumer goods, official documents, medals, brochures, and photographs that document everyday East German history. Visits are by appointment only, making it an intimate and personal experience for small groups.
