Cavaleriemuseum
The Cavaleriemuseum is a military museum housed in the historic Bernhardkazerne barracks dedicated to the history of the Dutch cavalry. Its extensive exhibition is housed across two buildings: the St. Jorisgebouw (named after the patron saint of the Cavalry, dating from 1952), which displays uniforms, firearms, silver objects, paintings, miniatures, and scale models, and a former garage containing historical cavalry combat vehicles. An outdoor exhibition surrounds the buildings with tanks and armored vehicles, including a Sherman tank and a Humber armored vehicle.
