Japanese Art Museum ''Sieboldhuis''

Japan Museum SieboldHuis in Leiden is dedicated to the extraordinary collection assembled by Philipp Franz von Siebold during his stay in Japan (1823–1829). Housed in a stately Dutch mansion, the museum presents exotic objects, artworks, and natural history specimens brought back by Siebold, offering a unique window into early 19th-century Japan. In addition to its permanent display, the museum presents rotating exhibitions on Japanese art, photography, and culture.
