Dutch National Towage Museum

The Nationaal Sleepvaart Museum (Dutch National Towage Museum) in Maassluis is the only museum in the world devoted entirely to the towage industry. Visitors can explore the rich history and development of Dutch towing from 1842 to the present day, including related fields such as sea rescue, salvage, diving, offshore work and heavy transport. The collection features photographs, paintings, scale tug models, a complete tug bridge, navigation simulator and an extensive library and documentation centre.
