House of Danar Hadi

House of Danar Hadi (Museum Batik Danar Hadi) in Surakarta (Solo), Central Java, is recognised by MURI as the world's largest batik museum. Established in 2008 by PT Batik Danar Hadi, the museum houses a collection of approximately 10,000 batik cloths spanning antique, royal, and regional styles. Visitors take a guided tour covering highlights of the collection, followed by a batik-making demonstration. The museum is adjacent to the company's flagship store on Jalan Slamet Riyadi.
