Coleraine Regional Museum @ Market Yard

The Coleraine Collection stems from the town's remarkable history. Coleraine is a town of several firsts - the first know settlement in Ireland at Mountsandel and the first 'planted' town in Ulster. The town produced 'Coleraines' linen, the finest of Irish Linen and Coleraine whisky - the brand of choice for the House of Commons. World famous illustrator, Hugh Thomson, artist A. D. McCormick and folklore expert, Sam Henry were all born in Coleraine. Objects within the collection reflect all of this and much more.
