Craigavon Museum

Craigavon Museum is located on the edge of Lough Neagh, at Oxford Island, has an excellent collection of Quaker and Methodist literature plus a large number of local interest books. A must for the enthusiast or just the curious explorers, the collection comprises has almost 6,000 local history reference books on topics such as traditions and customs, archaeology, transport, social history, agriculture, inland waterways, researching family history, placenames and townlands. It has two unique collections, of Quaker and Methodist books, and archaeological and local history journals including a complete set of 'Review', the biennial journal of Craigavon Historical Society. It also has a collection of Ordnance Survey maps and some photographic collections available for consultation; these focus on the history and development of the Craigavon area
