Desmond Hall
A unique heritage attraction Desmond Hall was built by the Fitzgeralds (Earls of Desmond) in the 1200's. The castle has a fascinating history; having survived numerous battles, sieges and rebellions. The medieval banqueting hall has been magnificently restored to it's former glory and is open to visitors, free of charge, seven days a week. The banqueting hall houses a collection of medieval Irish, furniture, crockery and earthenware.
