Farmleigh

Farmleigh is a public amenity situated to the North-West of Phoenix Park in Dublin. Farmleigh Estate comprises seventy-eight acres in the suburb of Castleknock. The House is open for free guided tours all year round (please check www.farmleigh.ie for seasonal arrangements). Since 2001, Farmleigh has served as the State Residence for Ireland; formerly it belonged to the Guinness family. The Estate also includes the Boathouse café, several exhibition spaces, a walled garden and Dutch-style sunken garden, and scenic walks.
