Smithwicks Experience Kilkenny

The Smithwicks Experience is located in the old Victorian brewing building off Parliament Street in Kilkenny City centre and this is where this multi-sensory and interactive experience takes visitors on a tour from the medieval origins of brewing on the site of the old St. Francis Abbey Brewery, through the arrival of John Smithwick in the 1700’s, right up its the present day history. Visitors will be totally immersed in Smithwick’s history, Ireland’s oldest beer brand, the amazing heritage of the Smithwick’s family and its place in the city of Kilkenny, which is steeped in history and brewing tradition.
