Kasteel Ammersoyen
Kasteel Ammersoyen is a real medieval castle with four towers, an imposing 6-metre-high Great Hall, a gatehouse, and moats, strategically situated in the Bommelerwaard near the Maas river. The castle features archaeological finds, spiral staircases, medieval latrine facilities, and surrounding medieval herb and hop gardens. Guided tours, special events, and extended tours of hidden areas are offered seasonally. Reopened April 2026 after renovation of the west and south wings.
