Bhau Daji Lad Museum (Victoria & Albert Museum)
The Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum is Mumbai's oldest museum, established in 1857. The collections highlight the city's cultural heritage through 19th-century fine and decorative arts that document early modern art practices and craftsmanship in the former Bombay Presidency and beyond. Since 2008 the museum has presented over 85 exhibitions, including notable collaborations with international institutions such as the Guggenheim Museum, New York. The Museum Plaza offers a green recreational space with a museum shop, café and education centre.
