Bhau Daji Lad Museum (Victoria & Albert Museum)

Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Mumbai City Museum, established in 1857 as Mumbai's oldest museum (formerly the Victoria and Albert Museum), focuses on excellence in cultural education through exhibitions, visual arts, and intellectual media. A recipient of the 2005 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Award of Excellence, the museum is located within the historic Rani Baug botanical gardens in Byculla.
