Birla Industrial & Technological Museum

The Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM) in Kolkata, founded in 1959, is India's first science museum. Operated by the National Council of Science Museums under the Ministry of Culture, it promotes science among youth through 12+ themed galleries covering physics, transport, mathematics, metals and more, along with interactive models, educational programs, and science shows.
