Bharat Kala Bhavan

Bharat Kala Bhavan is the art and archaeological museum of Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi. The museum holds a significant collection including roughly two thousand stone sculptures dating from the 3rd century BC to the 14th century AD, with material from sites stretching from the ancient Gandhara region to Bengal and predominantly representing the Ganga–Yamuna valley. Permanent galleries include the Sculpture Gallery, the Nicholas Roerich Gallery, and the Terracotta Gallery, alongside collections of paintings, miniatures, textiles, decorative arts, and archaeological artefacts.
