Mani Bhavan
Mani Bhavan Gandhi Sangrahalaya in Mumbai is the museum and reference library located in the historic house where Mahatma Gandhi stayed during his most formative years in Bombay. It was here that Gandhi evolved from an agitator into a world figure, introducing Satyagraha as a powerful instrument of non-violent resistance and directing major campaigns for Indian independence. The museum preserves personal documents, photographs, dioramas, and extensive archives related to Gandhi's life, philosophy, and work, alongside a library of books read and written by him. The centre also hosts educational programmes, film screenings, talks, and seminars for students and researchers.
