Jang-e-Azadi Memorial

The Jang-e-Azadi Memorial (ਜੰਗ-ਏ-ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ) is a commemorative memorial complex near Kartarpur, Punjab, India, dedicated to the unparalleled sacrifices of Punjabis in the freedom struggle for Indian independence. Located on 25 acres along the Jalandhar-Amritsar national highway, the complex features six thematic galleries including exhibits on Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the Akali movements, the Gurdwara Reform Movement, and the independence struggle. Facilities include an introductory Entrance Foyer, Minar-e-Shaheedan, an amphitheatre, a 3D immersive dome, a movie theatre, an auditorium, a seminar hall, a laser show, and a cafeteria.
