Atlantikwall Museum Hoek van Holland

The Atlantikwall-Museum is housed in a German Type 611 gun bunker built in 1943 along the Noorderpier in Hoek van Holland as part of the Atlantikwall defensive line. As the Netherlands' first and principal knowledge and education center on the Atlantikwall, it tells the story using authentic objects, dioramas, information panels and a documentary shown in a unique bunker cinema. The museum is run entirely by volunteers under the Stichting 'Vesting Hoek van Holland'.
