Het Bolwerk

Het Bolwerk is a heritage centre dedicated to the Staats-Spaanse Linies (State-Spanish Lines), a network of 16th and 17th-century military fortifications along the former border between the Spanish Netherlands and the Dutch Republic. The centre explores life around these historic defensive lines through exhibitions, a knowledge centre, and guided programmes, preserving an important chapter of Low Countries military history and the communities that formed around these remarkable earthworks.
