Jan Visser Museum
The Jan Visser Museum in Helmond, Netherlands, is dedicated to rural life before mechanisation and traditional crafts. Originally focused on agricultural history, the museum expanded in 1998 to include tools and machines from old trades such as the butcher, blacksmith, and shoemaker. A separate building on the grounds houses an extensive collection of historic equipment from the Helmond municipal fire brigade and various company fire brigades. The museum regularly organises themed days with live demonstrations.
