Botanic Gardens Utrecht
The Botanic Gardens of Utrecht University are the largest academic botanical gardens in the Netherlands, covering 10 hectares with more than 10,000 plant species from around the world. This 'green museum' combines a public visitor experience with scientific research and university teaching, featuring themed areas including a bamboo forest, evolution garden, North American forest garden, rock garden and tropical greenhouses with a butterfly house.
