Chessmen Museum
The Chessmen Museum (Schaakstukkenmuseum) in Rotterdam opened in 2006 and houses a fascinating private collection of antique chess pieces, cartoon character sets, and folkloric chess artwork. Located below the iconic Cube Houses near Blaak station, the museum also hosts regular temporary exhibitions featuring original chess piece designs.
