Basilica Mauriziana (Torino)
The Basilica dei Santi Maurizio e Lazzaro (Basilica Mauriziana) in Turin is the seat of the Arciconfraternita dei Santi Maurizio e Lazzaro, founded in 1729 by King Vittorio Amedeo II through the merger of two older Turin confraternities dedicated to the Holy Cross (14th century) and Saint Maurice (1603). The basilica is located in via Milano, 20 and is currently closed for restoration work. The confraternity continues to hold its monthly Sunday Mass in the basilica choir (except in July, August, and December).
